About Me
I’m a true believer in making a positive difference in the lives of others.
I’m a Master Personal Trainer, Life & Wellness Coach, Nutritionist, and Entrepreneur.
For more than 30 years, I’ve helped people improve their mind, body, and overall wellness through personal training, coaching, speaking engagements, podcasts, and virtual sessions. My passion is helping people recognize their potential, overcome obstacles, and create healthier, more fulfilling lives.
Where It All Began
My love for fitness and personal development began when I was a child. After my parents divorced, I struggled emotionally. My uncle, who owned Ninja Karate Academy in Ventnor, New Jersey, took me under his wing. He became an incredible mentor and helped change the course of my life.
He taught me the importance of being a good listener, staying focused, and having the discipline to work toward my goals. Just as importantly, he taught me to be compassionate, understanding, and engaging when communicating with others.
Those lessons stayed with me throughout my life and career. They became especially meaningful when we worked together to help provide a safe environment for victims of violent crimes. I loved watching my uncle make such a positive difference in the lives of others, and I knew I wanted to follow in his footsteps.
I began martial arts training at the age of 12 and eventually earned my third-degree black belt in three different styles of martial arts. I was pushed to my limits — and sometimes beyond — but I’m incredibly grateful for the lessons those experiences taught me.
My uncle believed that earning a black belt was about much more than physical ability. He believed you needed the maturity and discipline to understand and accept the responsibility that came with it. That’s why, even though I started training at 12, I wasn’t permitted to test for my first-degree Black Belt until I was 20. Those principles of discipline, perseverance, compassion, and personal growth continue to influence the way I coach today.
My Approach to Coaching
I coach others using the same positive approach that was taught to me. I believe people need to feel comfortable, supported, and understood before they can truly embrace change.
I understand that beginning a health and wellness journey can feel overwhelming. My goal is to make that journey feel achievable by providing unwavering support, motivation, accountability, and guidance every step of the way.
My nurturing and empathetic nature allows me to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where my clients can explore their goals, overcome obstacles, build confidence, and unlock their true potential.
